Lost In Time

When you think of time, days, hours, and minutes are what come to mind. Well I believe that the whole concept of time is wrong. Reason for me believing this is there’s daylight savings time and every 4 years we add an extra day to February, and if you go back even 10 years ago winter started in mid October early November and them spring started around March break or earlier. Now winter starts later and ends later. (Not due from global warming), but a mistake in time measurement altogether. I have not yet figured out what time really is and how it should be. I’m sure someone on this planet has figured it out and it hasn’t changed because it would cost too much money to do so but we are so used to it now, that we could never change the patterns at which we live. It is also the reason why no two clocks ever keep the same time.

Global warming for real!

Today I am not going to do a review but a theory on how global warming will actually happen.


When I say Mt. St. Helens most of you will think mountain and others will know volcano. About 20 to 30 years ago, the volcano erupted violently and poured so much soot into the atmosphere that it caused global temperatures to drop by about 8 degrees. Now what does that have to global warming you say? Well it has everything to do with global warming. The warming of the surface of the earth will cause the crust to become weak due to no coolness to keep it from turning into magma. In the years to come more and more volcanoes will start to erupt and new ones will show there face. After that, there all going to chain erupt and put so much soot into the atmosphere it will cause an ice age to cool the planet. In addition, I believe that that is how the dinosaurs died back in the day and why only marine life survived.

KINECT

Ok so now I am allowed to post something about the KINECT for the Xbox 360 and I have to say it’s the most innovative thing I’ve seen in the gaming industry in years. The way it works is amazing in it self. There is the main camera in the center, and infrared to the right of that and to the left is a depth perception lens. It is self-adjusting to any height with a tilt motor. It has two noise cancelling microphones on the bottom for the voice activation. The only thing i had to say that is not good is the distance to need to be at to have it work. If you have a small room than it is not a good idea to get unless you have somewhere to play it other than that, I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Xbox 360 Slim

I bought myself one of the new Xbox Slims and I have to say meh to what it is. The performance is the same and it sill pumps out enough heat to completely turn my room into a sauna in the middle of the winter. The only real better things about this new council is that it’s almost button free and the face that it has 5 USB ports, 3 of which are only for accessories NOT for additional memory. The Wi-Fi adapter that’s built in I don’t see as a plus because, what if you’re not going to use it. Then you have a $120 part that’s completely useless. I like the new outside look and overall design. The USB ports on the back are constant power feed so you can charge Xbox accessories, iPod touch still does not work media wise. It’s a little more user friendly I suppose, and I say this because the hook up is much simpler than the last Xbox. The placement of the cooling fan is a big improvement, it’s now on the side to draw the heat away from the GPU and CPU directly instead of drawing it threw the whole Xbox. Overall, this one gets 4 out of 5 only because of the unneeded Wi-Fi and the sort of useless USB ports in the back.

PlayStation 3

Ok so here’s what happened. I went out and bought a PlayStation 3 just for the hell of it, (I didn’t have one to begin with). I’ve had it for a week now and I like what it has to offer. It has a web browser, PlayStation HOME, and the Blu-Ray player. That is about all it has to offer that makes it unique, other than that it has big problems. The first problem that occurred was the fact that it disconnects from the video feed every time you load a game, go to the store, est. Why? Why does it need to disconnect like that every time I do something, it’s almost as if it reboots every time. The second problem I ran into was that the system will only accept FAT format external memory (get with the time Sony NTFS is the way to go). The third problem is more of an annoyance is the fact that it has the tray-less disk drive the put in cars like 10 years ago, it make suck a loud noise I thought I broke it. There has only been one thing I found odd with the PlayStation 3 was the fact that it accepts some accessories from the other systems, for example the Xbox 360 Live Vision Cam. I'd also advise against getting the key pad for the PlayStation 3 due to the fact that the track pad built into it doesn’t work at all(way to go Sony) and Sony I think threw it in as an afterthought. The key pad is its own unit and clips on, not attaches, to the SIXAXIS controller. It has its own battery built in, and comes with (don’t know why) NOTHING at all. You have to supply your own charge cable, which happens to be the same as the controller. Therefore, over all id have to say the PlayStation 3 only gets a 3/5 stars with me but only due to its problems and long downloading updates time. Fix that and it gets a 4/5.

London Bridge is Falling Down?

Hey, everyone I just got back from an amazing weekend with my buddy. It was an adventure of a lifetime. London, Ontario, Canada has to be the most amazing city I’ve been to in my life so far. We stared out weekend by going to get something from a friends place across the city and what a trip that was. About 5 busses there and back and only had to pay once. Just the transit system up there makes me realize what a shit hole of a city I’m living in. (Windsor). The next day we went to the Gibraltar trade center. I have to say what a good place to get some old/new shit for cheap. If I had $1,000, it would be spent there in 5 minutes. The only bad thing I ran into in London was some crazy bitch that was accusing us of raping her grammas grandchild. We ignored her and she went away. The city itself is so clean streetwise from what I seen. No dog shit or garbage anywhere to be found. If all goes to plan, I just might be calling it home soon enough.

Before I go....

Before I go, I just thought id mention that my friend suggested I make a web comic. I started thing about it and I think I am going to make one. I cannot draw very well but I can sometimes wit a good story. (like when I’m high) I'll try to have my first comic posed right after I get back, (if I can even remember who I am after this weekend) and I want feedback from everyone. I just need a title for it.

It been a couple days?!

Hey, everyone I know it has been a couple of days since I last posted, but I’ve been a little busy with work and I’ll try to post something this weekend as well. I might not because I’m going to my friends B-day party and were going to get messed up and then some. So if there is any weird posts on the week end I apologize in advance for the awesome I write while I’m baked(like in an oven he he). Once were all done like cookies were going to go and have a big NURF fight somewhere. (Location still unknown) Nevertheless, the best to all of you and have a good weekend.

Crackdown 2

Ok so first off Crackdown was a good game, Crackdown 2 its well, just Crackdown with less game play and a new overlay. What I think they did to this Crackdown 2 is that they did what food companies do every day, and that is they change a pigment on the package and there for call it NEW and IMPROVED in witch case it is not. You are still in pacific city taking orders from some high power that you never meet of see, trying to over throw the local militia. They also threw in a not so new, just never really noticed in the first Crackdown, were the freaks. they over run the streets as to try and distract you hoping you won’t notice the fact that it’s the same Crackdown as before just more MP oriented. Over all crackdown 2 is a good game (just because it’s Crackdown with new overlay) to smash things and have fun online with friends.

Out with the girlfriend

Well today I’m going to go hang out with my girlfriend at the mall. Probably have lunch and then come home. I wish I had a vehicle so I could get to the bigger mall on the other end of town, but at my job and at the wages I make that will never happen in today’s economy.

NERF!!!!!

I was at work the other day when a co-worker comes in and says: "Hey guys wanna see something awesome I bought for $5!!!!" sure we do and so he pulls out this NURF gun that was made for the Wii. I then pulled out $5 in crack change and asked him to get me one. When I got home and used it I was like: “HOLY SHIT I NEED ANOTHER ONE!!!!! So I went out and bought 2 more from EB Games and then went to Zellers and got a shit load of ammo darts for it. Then yesterday I moded one of the $5 ones so it shoots farther and faster, and in conclusion I am going to have a blast with these NURF guns!
